Teresa Cremin is Chair of the Teacher Development Fund advisory group and a Professor of Education (Literacy) at The Open University.
Professor Teresa Cremin is a Professor of Education (Literacy) at The Open University in the Faculty of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (AcSS), the Royal Society of the Arts (RSA) and the English Association (EA). Teresa has been a practising primary teacher and has worked extensively in Higher Education. Currently her work mainly focuses on research, although she is also involved in teaching and consultancy, leadership, management and knowledge transfer activities.

Professor Teresa Cremin, Co-Director, Literacy and Social Justice Centre at The Open University and Chair of the TDF Advisory Group, shares her cautious optimism for the re-valuing of the arts within the ‘refreshed’ curriculum and encourages all those involved in the Teacher Development Fund programme, both past and present, to add their voices to the ongoing review.
