Paul Hamlyn Foundation would like to extend our congratulations to all those recognised for their contribution to society in the 2021 New Year’s Honours list.
Paul Hamlyn Foundation congratulates all those recognised for their contribution to society in the 2023 New Year’s Honours list.
In particular, we would like to offer our best wishes to Claire Whitaker, a member of our board of trustees, who has been awarded a CBE for services to the arts and culture.
Claire is CEO of Southampton Culture Trust and led the shortlisted bid for City of Culture 2025. Prior to this she was a Director of Serious, the highly respected live music and events organisation which runs the EFG London Jazz Festival. She was previously awarded an OBE in 2015 for services to jazz.
She has been a trustee of Paul Hamlyn Foundation since 2016, and holds several non-executive roles including Cultural Ambassador for the Mayor of London and member of the British Council’s Arts and Creative Economy Advisory Group. She was also appointed as an independent trustee of the Government’s Cultural Recovery Fund in 2020, helping to direct funding to cultural organisations and heritage sites facing unprecedented challenges during the Covid pandemic.
Paul Hamlyn Foundation would like to extend our congratulations to all those recognised for their contribution to society in the 2021 New Year’s Honours list.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Silaja Birks and Tom Palakudiyil to our board of trustees.
