Letícia brings over seven years’ experience in migrants’ rights roles, including at FLEX, Migrants’ Rights Network and the Greater London Authority, which have allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the UK’s immigration system, its historical foundations and how migration fits within wider political agendas and social justice movements.
Moira Sinclair, Chief Executive, Paul Hamlyn Foundation said: “Letícia is a values-led leader with learned and lived experience of the systems and issues where we want to see change. She is committed to establishing more open, diverse and inclusive collaboration, proactively identifying which communities, perspectives and issues are not represented in decision-making spaces. That mix of skills and expertise will be of real value to our work as a grant-maker.”
