Adam Rahman appointed as Head of Communications

Published: 17 September 2026

We are pleased to announce that Adam Rahman has joined Paul Hamlyn Foundation as Head of Communications.

Adam joins us from IntoUniversity, an educational charity providing long-term support to young people facing disadvantage through a network of local learning centres.

Adam has worked across the charity sector, most recently leading communications for organisations promoting access and equality within education. Before that, Adam was Head of Communications at the National Zakat Foundation, The Silver Line, and Four Paws. He is also a Trustee at GET OUT, a charity that connects young people from disadvantaged areas to nature as a means of its protection and to improve health and well-being.

I’m really excited to be joining Paul Hamlyn Foundation as their new Head of Communications. Perhaps this could have been said at any moment in history, but it feels like a particularly important time to be striving for social justice. Some of the most basic principles of fairness, equality and human rights are being called into question amid an increasingly divisive media and political discourse. At the same time, there are so many reasons to be positive — and there is so much amazing work happening around the country and beyond to achieve tangible and lasting social change — a story which needs to be amplified.

I can’t wait to get started with my new team and to begin connecting with all of the excellent charities PHF supports in the coming months!”
