Elisha Shamba



Elisha Shamba works in the charity sector, specialising in working with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children with complex needs. He is an advisor to our Migration Fund.
Elisha Shamba (he/him) has worked in the charity sector for almost 16 years, specialising in working with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children with complex needs and those confirmed or suspected as being victims of trafficking. Throughout the 15 years, he has worked in various settings with young people first as a frontline practitioner and now in a Team Manager role. He is a first responder to the National Referral Mechanism, the UK’s system for identifying and supporting victims of trafficking and modern slavery. Elisha migrated to the UK from Zimbabwe in 2002. Elisha joined PHF as an independent advisor in 2023.
