Cleo Amissah

Prior to joining the Foundation, Cleo has previously worked in curatorial spaces across the documentary photography sector. She is interested in exploring creative approaches to heritage preservation, particularly using archives and special collections.

Cleo holds an MA in Race, Ethnicity, and Postcolonial Studies from University College London and a BA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from London College of Communication. Both degrees enabled her research to explore the effects of colonial legacies on cultural production.
