Chrissie Okorie
Chrissie joined PHF as a Grants Manager in November 2025.
Chrissie joined PHF as part of the 2027 programme as a Grants Manager. She has over six years of experience in the youth, migration, and arts sector. She supports organisations to work with marginalised communities in holistic and creative ways using indigenous and decolonial practices that draw heavily on anti-oppressive principles.
She has a BA in Journalism from Coventry University (BJTC Credited) and an MA in Race, Media and Social Justice from Goldsmiths University of London. She has worked as a Producer, Community Engagement, consultant and advisor for organisations such as Maokwo Arts, Theatre Peckham and Blagrave Trust while freelancing as a consultant and facilitator for Rochdale Council and Staffordshire University.
