Qualitative Analysis of Grantees’ and Declined Applicants’ Perceptions of Paul Hamlyn Foundation in 2022
In 2022 PHF commissioned Center for Effective Philanthropy to undertake a survey of our grantees and applicants, asking about their perceptions of the Foundation, focusing on our impact; commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion; and our processes, interactions and communications. This paper, written by PHF’s Evidence and Learning Team provides a comprehensive analysis of the feedback provided by grantees and applicants in the survey’s open-ended questions. These responses offer valuable insights and suggestions, which help us to spot trends and opportunities, understand our strengths and identify areas for us to work on.
