Shoubhik Bandopadhyay

Head of Programme - Arts

Shoubhik Bandopadhyay joined PHF in November 2022 as Head of Programme – Arts. He has worked in the cultural sector since 2009, first delivering community arts and music education programmes before focusing more on organisational development, strategy and research. Before joining PHF he was Head of Strategic Insight at the National Archives and he has also held roles with London Sinfonietta, Barbican Centre and Nesta, where he authored the final report in the influential Digital Culture series. He believes that everyone’s culture is equal, and is motivated by the potential of philanthropy to transform the cultural sector, support the development of new institutions and shift power into communities. Prior to working in the sector, Shoubhik worked as a musician in the band White Heath and continues making music as part of the experimental pop duo Los Alamos.
