Régis Cochefert – Director, Grants and Programmes

Régis, our Director of Grants and Programmes, will be leaving PHF in early 2022 after 16 years at the Foundation.

In this time, Paul Hamlyn Foundation has expanded from a team of just 10 to 45 staff, with a grant making budget now of c.£50 million each year.

Jane Hamlyn, Chair, said: “Régis has played an exceptional role in the growth and development of the Paul Hamlyn Foundation over the past 16 years.  He has been instrumental in ensuring the Foundation’s programmes focus on the aspirations of people across the UK, particularly young people, often enabling them to have a voice and to imagine a different way forward.  I am hugely grateful for the expertise, integrity, commitment and good humour Régis brought to all his work.  We shall miss him greatly and wish him all the very best for the future.”

Régis commented: “I feel very privileged to have been part of the Foundation’s growth since 2005 and I am very proud of what our funding has helped others achieve: it is the insight and hard work of the people and organisations we support that is making the difference. These relationships have meant a lot to me and I have learnt a lot through them. I will miss everyone greatly, but have decided the time is right to explore new opportunities and find a new balance in my life.”

Régis will step down from his role in December.
