Collaborative Inquiry into lived experience in the migration sector

The Collaborative Inquiry into Lived Experience in the Migration Sector is an action research project, led by a learning collective of people with lived experience of injustice caused by the UK immigration system.

PHF is committed to championing the inclusion and leadership of people with lived experience of the immigration system to drive change, and we recognise that there is much more for us – and the broader migration sector – to learn.

The Inquiry aims to generate learning that catalyses action and change on the role of lived experience in the UK migration sector, including the ways in which lived experience leaders can be equitably included and supported to be effective champions for change in the UK’s migration sector.

The Inquiry will take place over a period of 18 months from winter 2021, culminating in a report, event and potentially other outputs to share learning and ideas with audiences that include funders, migration sector organisations and allies in wider social justice movements.

We will update this page as the Inquiry progresses.
