Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

We have watched the events unfolding in Ukraine this week with great concern. Over a million refugees have fled the country in recent days, with millions more projected.

The trustees of Paul Hamlyn Foundation have committed £250,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, to help meet the immediate needs of people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.

Every pound donated by the UK public will be matched by the UK government up to the value of £20 million, increasing the impact of the public’s donations and helping to ensure that charities working on the ground can reach those in urgent need.

Our Migration and Integration team are working closely with our partners to understand how we can further support organisations working with those forced to migrate in the coming weeks and months.
