Moira Sinclair to step down as Chief Executive of Paul Hamlyn Foundation

Today we are sharing the news that our Chief Executive of ten years – Moira Sinclair – will be stepping down in February 2025.

Moira Sinclair said: “It has been an enormous privilege to lead Paul Hamlyn Foundation for the last ten years. Our vision for a just society in which everyone can realise their full potential and enjoy fulfilling and creative lives moves me as much today as it did back in 2015 and the powerful work of the people and organisations that we support has never been more vital.

“It has only become possible for me to think beyond PHF, about the many things I still hope to do professionally and personally, because of the brilliant team and the clarity of strategy we have in place. This feels like the right time to pass on the baton, as PHF moves into its next chapter, which I know will be a hugely exciting one.

I am looking forward to my final year and to supporting our chair, Jane Hamlyn, and the trustees with the ongoing work whilst they recruit what is, to my mind, one of the great jobs in our sector. It is too early for farewells, but I will always treasure and be grateful for the chance to be part of Paul Hamlyn Foundation.”

Jane Hamlyn, Chair of Paul Hamlyn Foundation, added: “On behalf of everyone at PHF and all the organisations with whom we work, I would like to thank Moira for her exceptional leadership over the past decade. There will be time to acknowledge Moira’s contribution over a decade of transformational change. For now, we are delighted to have her with us through to 2025 whilst we begin the process of finding a successor.”

Green Park will be managing the recruitment process for Paul Hamlyn Foundation’s next Chief Executive.
