The report provides an overview of the Covid Response Fund, explores the experiences of funded organisations and the difference the funding made to them, and identifies lessons for grant-making in response to future emergencies.

During the pandemic, PHF’s Covid Response Fund made over 500 grants in the UK totalling over £16.5 million. To understand the scale of the challenges faced by organisations and the impact of the Fund, we invited organisations supported through the Covid Response Fund to complete a short survey – this review summarises the key findings. The report provides an overview of the Covid Response Fund, explores the experiences of funded organisations and the difference the funding made to them, and identifies lessons for grant-making in response to future emergencies.
