Our Shared Ground Fund is changing

Published: 26 January 2024

The Shared Ground Fund is changing to respond to the vision, priorities and current needs of those working towards migrant justice.

During the past year, our team has conducted an in-depth consultation with migrants, sanctuary seekers and others working on migrant justice to build a shared vision for the future and to consider how funders can best support the sector to progress towards this vision. We will now briefly pause the Fund to allow us to implement these changes and prepare for the Fund’s re-launch in early spring.

While we do this, we won’t be able to accept new applications or enquiry calls to the Shared Ground Fund from Friday 9 February (11:59pm) through early spring 2024. However, you can register your interest in speaking to one of our Grants Managers once the Fund reopens by filling out a form on our website. If you have any concerns or questions, please email our team at migration@phf.org.uk

We are really grateful to everyone who has given their time, expertise and insight to help us shape the new iteration of PHF’s migration fund. We are looking forward to re-opening the Fund in early spring 2024, along with clearer criteria and a simpler application process. We will publish a series of blogs between now and April to share more about this work, including the changes to our funding criteria and the thinking behind them.
