Sonia Mehta

Grants Manager 

Sonia is a Grant Manager, focused on our Arts Fund.

Sonia joined Paul Hamlyn Foundation in March 2022. As one of PHF’s Grants Managers, she focuses on our Arts Fund. Prior to this, she worked for the National Lottery Community Fund, where she led their work on Arts and Social Impact as well as Women and Girls. 

Prior to this, she managed the education wing of Asian Dub Foundation Education and helped establish Rich Mix as an international arts centre and vital community resource. She co-founded the South Asian Women’s Creative Collective, and set up an arts collective in the North Island of New Zealand. 

Sonia is also a vocalist – her gigs aim to draw attention to human rights and social justice.
