Amanda Gamage

Grants Assistant 

Amanda joined as Grants Assistant in the Migration team in 2024.

Amanda joined PHF in May 2024 as Grants Assistant in the Migration Fund. Her interests lie particularly in participatory approaches, which she has explored both academically and professionally at Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD) while based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Before joining PHF, she worked as Fellowship Program Officer at The Council for At-Risk Academics (Cara) where she supported at-risk academics forced into exile.

Amanda has completed an MSc in Human Rights at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and holds a BSc in Development Studies from Lund University.
