Who can apply?

We will only accept applications from formally constituted organisations.

The purposes for which you are applying must by legally charitable and your constitution must allow you to carry out the work you propose.

If your organisation is not a registered charity or a Community Interest Company, we may consider you eligible to apply if your constitution establishes you on a not-for-profit basis. This broadly means that the profits (surplus) cannot be distributed to the members and that if the organisation is closed down, the assets would be transferred to another organisation established for charitable purposes.

Individuals are not eligible to apply under the Open Grants Scheme.

Local authorities and public bodies are eligible to apply.

We expect all those we fund to actively demonstrate values based on mutual respect, tolerance, understanding and appreciation of diversity in our communities
